The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. We are looking for Lead Teachers interested in Infants and Toddlers! We are looking to hire leads in the following rooms: -Infant Teacher for the closing shift of 9:30am-5:30pm. This room cares for children ages 9m-18m. -Toddler Teacher for the opening shift of 7:30am-3:30pm. This room cares for children approximately ages 18m-24m. These shifts include a 1 hour paid lunch break. Our Lead Teachers plan and execute the day to day operations of the classroom to ensure a successful and nurturing program for all children involved. This includes working collaboratively with coworkers to ensure the success of the classroom and the children, writing lesson plans, helping maintain a clean and positive work environment, and strong communication skills with coworkers and parents of children. Responsibilities Implementing creative lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards. Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Assess and monitor children's progress through formal and informal observations. Collaborate with parents and coworkers to support children's development and address any concerns. Support the Centers philosophy and approach in play-based principles. Promote healthy habits among students. Maintain a clean, organized classroom that promotes positive behavior and learning. Experience An Associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or related field, or a current CDA, is required. Experience working in a preschool or early childhood setting. Familiarity with childhood development theories and practices. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
