Join our team at the Jewish Community Center of Greater Buffalo as a Full-Time Lead Teacher for our Universal Pre-Kindergarten program! Experience with classroom management techniques and a solid understanding of child development principles will also help you create a positive and enriching learning environment for our students. The knowledge and skills required for the position are: NY State Teacher Certification in Early Childhood, Childhood, or Special Education As a new Lead Teacher for our UPK program at the Jewish Community Center of Greater Buffalo, you can expect a dynamic and engaging work environment. Your typical day will involve planning and implementing age-appropriate activities, fostering a nurturing classroom atmosphere, and collaborating with other team members to ensure the best outcomes for our students. Your schedule will primarily be Monday through Friday mornings, with some afternoons. You'll have the opportunity to participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance your skills and stay up-to-date on best practices in early childhood education. Must be available between 7:30 am-6:00 pm (every morning and various afternoons). Flexible schedule - Full/Part-time available .
