Substitute Teacher - Home Daycare

Overview Little Sunflowers Child Care is seeking a reliable, nurturing, and responsible substitute caregiver to assist in our licensed Group Family Daycare located in Cobleskill, NY. This position is as-needed to cover staff absences, appointments, training days, or occasional schedule changes. The ideal candidate enjoys working with young children and helping create a safe, positive, and engaging environment. Our program cares for children in a warm, home-like setting and focuses on play-based learning, routine, and supporting children's social and emotional development. •There is potential for this position to grow into a more consistent part-time or full-time opportunity for the right person. Responsibilities Provide attentive supervision and care for children across various age groups, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Implement age-appropriate activities that stimulate learning, creativity, and social skills. Maintain a safe and clean environment by following health and safety protocols diligently. Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and conflict resolution among children.
