Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Daycare Worker/Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment for children of various ages, from toddlers to preschoolers. Your enthusiasm for child development and commitment to fostering a positive learning atmosphere will help children thrive socially, emotionally, and academically. Duties Develop and implement engaging daily activities that promote childhood development, including preschool and toddler care routines. Supervise children during play, learning activities, mealtimes, naps, and outdoor exploration to ensure safety at all times. Foster positive behavior management strategies to encourage cooperation, respect, and social skills among children. Provide basic first aid when necessary and respond promptly to any health or safety concerns. Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate progress, concerns, and milestones effectively. Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that supports early childhood education standards and safety protocols. Requirements Fingerprinting and background check required. Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, nannying, or similar caregiving roles is highly preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices is essential. Experience in classroom management and behavior management techniques is beneficial. At least 12 Education credits, or Bachelors/ Masters in Education. Certification in first aid and CPR is recommended; additional certifications in special education or working with individuals with disabilities are a plus. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children and parents of diverse backgrounds and needs.
