Teacher - Universal Pre-K (UPK)

Variety Child Learning Center is seeking a UPK Teacher. This is a Full-time, Benefit eligible, 10 month assignment, beginning September 2026 and ending June 2027. The UPK Teacher is responsible to develop and provide instruction to meet the needs of each child in the class while implementing curriculum that is compatible with the New York State Next Generation Learning Standards and the New York State Early Learning Guidelines. In addition, the teacher is responsible for ongoing evaluation and assessment of each student's progress during the school year. We require a bachelor's degree. NYS Professional Certification in Early Childhood Education Birth to 2nd grade or equivalent. We prefer 1-3 years experience, Hours are typically 8:00am-3:30pm Monday Friday •The UPK Teacher works 10 months/year, however; opportunity for placement during VCLC's 6-week Special Education summer-session may be available. Additional compensation would be paid.
