UPK Lead Teacher

We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated New York State Certified 3K/UPK Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with young children in a classroom setting, demonstrate a strong understanding of child development, and be committed to the success of every child.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum in accordance with NYS standards and guidelines. Create a positive, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment that supports the individual needs of each child. Communicate effectively with families, providing regular updates on their child's development and progress. Collaborate with fellow staff members, sharing ideas, resources, and best practices to promote a cohesive and supportive team environment. Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations and guidelines, as well as our policies and procedures.

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field. Strong understanding of child development, early childhood education principles, and the NYS Prekindergarten Foundation for the Common Core. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with children, families, and staff. Ability to plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate lessons that align with NYS standards and guidelines. Recent Graduates are welcome and teaching experience in an early education setting is preferred
