Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Montessori Toddler Guide to join our vibrant early childhood education team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will create a nurturing and stimulating environment tailored specifically for toddlers, fostering their natural curiosity and love for learning. As a Montessori Toddler Guide, you will implement developmentally appropriate activities that promote independence, social-emotional growth, and foundational skills in literacy, math, and physical development. Your energetic approach and commitment to child welfare will inspire young learners to thrive in a supportive classroom setting that emphasizes respect, exploration, and hands-on learning. Duties Design and execute engaging Montessori-based lesson plans tailored to the developmental needs of toddlers, incorporating curriculum development principles. Facilitate a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration, independence, and social interaction among young children. Use effective classroom management strategies to promote positive behavior and foster a respectful community of learners. Support early intervention efforts by observing children's progress and collaborating with families and specialists when necessary. Implement age-appropriate activities that develop independence, literacy skills, fine motor abilities, basic math concepts, and physical coordination. Maintain detailed records of each child's developmental milestones, progress reports, and classroom activities in compliance with licensing standards. Communicate clearly with parents and guardians about their child's growth, daily experiences, and upcoming classroom events or needs. Skills Strong knowledge of childhood development theories with an emphasis on toddler care within the Montessori framework. Proven experience in classroom management and lesson planning for early childhood education settings. Expertise in curriculum development, especially in practical life, sensorial, art, literacy education, math fundamentals, physical education, and behavior management strategies. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with families, colleagues, and external specialists. Ability to create an inclusive environment that promotes child welfare and respects diverse backgrounds. Prior experience in a Montessori Classroom is a plus.
