Job Description

Head Teacher Duties:
  • Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for preschool children.
  • Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.
  • Teach basic academic skills, such as letter recognition, counting, and shapes.
  • Foster social and emotional development through positive reinforcement and guidance.
  • Encourage creativity and imagination through art, music, and play.
  • Monitor and assess each child's progress and provide feedback to parents or guardians.
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive learning environment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized classroom.
Skills:
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Patience and empathy to support the individual needs of each child.
  • Creativity to develop engaging lesson plans and activities.
  • Organizational skills to manage classroom materials and resources.
  • Ability to adapt teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles.
  • Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education best practices.
