Our Schodack Resource Center is seeking an Early Head Start Teacher that will: Nurture and support the development and learning of children aged 6 weeks to 3 years old through the implementation of a developmentally appropriate curriculum.

Use age-appropriate and positive guidance strategies to teach, encourage, and redirect inappropriate classroom behavior Build positive relationships with staff and families through positive and professional communication.

Create a welcoming classroom environmentPlan and implement a daily education program for infant and toddler children that integrates all components of Head Start/Early Head Start Performance Standards. Work collaboratively with the classroom co-teacher and all other program staff.

Complete all required paperwork including lesson plans. Observation notes, health logs, child assessments, etc. Create and maintain a safe and healthy environment ensuring adequate supervision and compliance with licensing.
Candidate Qualifications:
An AAS or bachelors degree in early childhood education or Infant/Toddler CDA (Child Development Associate)Knowledge of Infant/Toddler child development and family interactionCandidate must be authorized to work in the US without the need for
