2 The Learning Experience•Hudson Yards is seeking an experienced Lead 3K Teacher to guide a preschool classroom serving 3-year-old children. This role is ideal for an educator who enjoys leading a classroom, building strong routines, and supporting early learning in a structured, play-based environment. Our 3K program focuses on early literacy, social-emotional development, independence, and school readiness through hands-on learning and positive guidance.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead a 3K classroom in a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment Implement daily lessons aligned with The Learning Experience L.E.A.P. Curriculum Support early literacy, math, social skills, creativity, and problem-solving Maintain consistent routines including learning centers, meals, transitions, and rest time Supervise and mentor assistant teachers to ensure classroom quality and consistency Observe, document, and support children's developmental progress Build strong partnerships with families through daily communication Maintain compliance with New York City Department of Health licensing requirements and center policies
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education preferred, or CDA credential, or High school diploma with 5 or more years of classroom experience Experience leading a preschool or 3K classroom Strong understanding of developmentally appropriate practices CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain Ability to meet all NYC childcare licensing and background requirements
