$20•23 per hour (based on education and experience)
Schedule:
Full-Time, Monday-Friday Early Childhood Education Teacher•Toddler & Preschool Programs The Learning Experience•Upper West Side is seeking an experienced Early Childhood Education Teacher to join our growing team. This position is ideal for educators who enjoy helping young children develop confidence, communication skills, and a lifelong love of learning through engaging, hands-on classroom experiences. Working alongside a collaborative teaching team, you'll create a nurturing environment where children thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Key Responsibilities Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment Implement developmentally appropriate learning experiences using The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum Foster children's language, social-emotional, cognitive, and physical development Support daily routines, learning centers, meals, and classroom transitions Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow educators Observe and document developmental progress Collaborate with center leadership to maintain high-quality classroom standards Follow all New York State and NYC licensing, health, and safety requirements Qualifications Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education preferred CDA accepted Previous childcare or classroom teaching experience required Strong understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate practice Excellent communication and teamwork skills Must meet all New York State and NYC childcare licensing requirements What We Offer Competitive hourly pay of $20•23 based on education and experience Paid time off and holidays Medical, dental, and vision benefits Professional development and advancement opportunities Employee childcare discount Supportive leadership and collaborative teaching environment Apply today to join The Learning Experience•Upper West Side and help create meaningful learning experiences that inspire children to learn, grow, and thrive every day.
