$20•23 per hour (based on education and experience)
Schedule:
Full-Time, Monday-Friday Lead Toddler Teacher•Early Learning Classroom The Learning Experience•Upper West Side is seeking a caring and experienced Lead Toddler Teacher to guide our toddler classroom. This role supports children during an important stage of language development, independence, and social-emotional growth through engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences. As the Lead Teacher, you will create a warm, structured classroom environment while mentoring assistant teachers and building strong relationships with families. Key Responsibilities Lead daily classroom routines for toddler-aged children Implement engaging activities using The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum Foster children's language, social-emotional, cognitive, and physical development Create a safe, organized, and engaging classroom environment Guide and support assistant teachers to ensure classroom consistency Build strong partnerships with families through regular communication Observe and document children's developmental progress Maintain compliance with New York State and NYC licensing requirements Qualifications Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education preferred CDA accepted Previous toddler classroom experience preferred Strong understanding of developmentally appropriate practice Excellent communication and classroom management skills Must meet all New York State and NYC childcare licensing requirements What We Offer Competitive hourly pay of $20•23 based on education and experience Paid time off and holidays Medical, dental, and vision benefits Professional development and career advancement opportunities Employee childcare discount Apply today and become part of a team where young children build confidence, independence, and a lifelong love of learning.
