Schedule:
Full-Time, Monday-Friday Preschool Teacher The Learning Experience•Hudson Yards is seeking an experienced Preschool Teacher to inspire young learners through engaging classroom experiences that support kindergarten readiness, confidence, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning. This role focuses on implementing a high-quality early childhood curriculum while fostering language development, social-emotional growth, problem-solving skills, and school readiness in a nurturing classroom environment. Key Responsibilities Lead a preschool classroom and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum Create engaging lessons that support early literacy, math, science, and social-emotional development Foster a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment Monitor and document children's developmental progress Support classroom routines, transitions, and behavior guidance strategies Partner with families through regular communication and progress updates Maintain a safe, organized, and engaging classroom environment Follow New York State and NYC childcare licensing requirements Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or higher required Minimum of 90 college credits in Early Childhood Education required Prior preschool teaching experience preferred Strong knowledge of child development and developmentally appropriate practices Excellent classroom management and communication skills Passion for helping young children learn, grow, and succeed Must meet New York State childcare licensing requirements
