What You ll Do Create a warm, welcoming, and positive environment for children and families Assist with engaging lesson plans, including art, science, and hands-on activities Support children one-on-one and in small groups to strengthen learning and confidence Help maintain a safe environment in the classroom, on the playground, and during outings Encourage participation in games, crafts, and educational activities Provide additional support for children with special needs Promote positive behavior and guide children with patience and professionalism Collaborate closely with teachers and staff to ensure smooth daily operations What We re Looking For High School Diploma (or equivalent) At least 1 year of experience working with children under 13 (babysitting counts!) Friendly, outgoing personality with a genuine love for working with kids Strong communication and teamwork skills Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) Ability to stay organized and adaptable in a fast-paced environment Physical Requirements This is an active role! You ll be moving, playing, and engaging with children throughout the day. Responsibilities include standing, walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs regularly), and maintaining awareness in a busy, energetic setting. Work Schedule Our daycare operates 7 days a week, 7:00 AM - 11:00 PM to support Casino employees. Evening and weekend availability is required.
