Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an Infant/Toddler Teacher at VIP II Daycare Center in Ozone Park, NY. In this role, you will provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children ages 4 to 30 months. Responsibilities include implementing developmentally appropriate activities, supporting children's physical, cognitive, language, and social-emotional development, maintaining daily routines, and building strong relationships with families. You will assist with feeding, diapering, naps, and other caregiving responsibilities while ensure the health, safety, and well-being over all children in your care. Requirements Must meet at least one of the following qualifications: Have an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education; or Have a Childhood Development Associate (CDA) plus a study plan to obtain an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education within 7 years; or High school diploma, 9 college credits in Early Childhood Education, and a study plan to obtain an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education within 7 years; or High school diploma, a study plan leading to 9 college credits in Early Childhood Education in two years, and a study plan to obtain an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education within 7 years Qualifications Demonstrate experience working with infants/toddlers Understanding of infant and toddler developmental milestones Ability to create a warm, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment Strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues Ability to observe, document, and communicate children's developmental progress Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation practices in an early childhood setting Patient, dependable, and attentive to the needs of young children Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team Genuine passion for helping infants and toddlers learn and grow and become a part of a team dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of the next generation.

$18.00 - $24.00 per hour
