The school is non-sectarian and welcomes families and employees of all backgrounds and cultures. Our core philosophy focuses on the development of the "whole child" through their cognitive, physical, emotional and social development in a nurturing and comfortable environment. Join our dedicated team as a Lead Teacher for our 4-year-old program. We are looking for a compassionate and skilled educator to work in our vibrant school community. This 10-month position, which follows a local school district schedule, is a perfect fit for a candidate devoted to early childhood growth and student engagement. Primary Responsibilities Design and execute educational activities and lessons that meet curriculum goals and support child development. Foster constructive relationships with students, their families, and staff through clear and effective communication. Utilize classroom management techniques to ensure an orderly, safe, and engaging learning atmosphere. Handle childcare tasks, such as diaper changes, while providing emotional encouragement to children. Ensure the classroom remains organized and clean in accordance with health and safety protocols. Position Requirements The successful candidate must be ready to begin on Sep 8, 2026 and work daily from 8:15 am to 12:30 pm. Applicants must satisfy all state experience and educational mandates, including: Minimum age of 18 with a GED or high school diploma. Prior experience in daycare or nursery school environments. Completion of at least 9 credits in Early Childhood education. A CDA or a degree (Associate or Bachelor's) in early education or a related discipline is preferred.
