Job Description

Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Twos, Pre-K, and 3-K Teacher, where your passion for nurturing young minds will ignite curiosity and foster growth in our youngest learners. In this dynamic role, you will create a warm, engaging classroom environment that promotes social-emotional development, literacy, and foundational skills. Your expertise will inspire children to explore, learn, and thrive through innovative lesson planning and compassionate guidance. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact during critical stages of childhood development. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that support early literacy, math, physical education, and social skills aligned with developmental milestones. Create a nurturing classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity, independence, and positive behavior management. Plan and execute daily lessons that incorporate Montessori principles, sensory activities, and hands-on learning experiences tailored for toddlers, preschoolers, and young children in 3-K programs. Support early intervention strategies and collaborate with specialists to meet the diverse needs of children requiring special education or additional support. Maintain detailed documentation of each child's progress through assessments, standardized testing results, and observational records to inform instruction. Foster open communication with families about their child's development, milestones, and classroom activities to promote a strong home-school connection. Manage classroom routines effectively while ensuring child welfare and safety at all times in a daycare or private school setting. Qualifications Demonstrated experience working with children in early childhood education environments such as daycare centers or preschools. Strong knowledge of childhood development theories, behavior management techniques, and classroom management strategies. Familiarity with curriculum development including literacy education, math instruction, and physical education. Excellent communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and engage parents effectively. Ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate standard educational practices while fostering creativity and independence. Certification or coursework in early childhood education or related fields preferred; prior preschool or private school experience is advantageous. (90 Credits Min.) High School Diploma or GED required Experience working with toddlers in a licensed childcare setting Ability to meet physical demands of caring for toddlers Child Development Associate (CDA) credential Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education (Preferred)
CPR and First Aid Certification Pay:
$21.00 - $25.00 per hour
