In this role, you will play a vital part in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help foster positive developmental experiences, support classroom activities, and ensure each child's individual needs are met with care and professionalism. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young lives while working alongside experienced educators committed to childhood development. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in planning and implementing engaging curriculum activities that promote early childhood education and development Support children during daily routines such as feeding, diapering, napping, and playtime with patience and attentiveness Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment by following health and safety protocols at all times Provide attentive care to children with special needs or disabilities, adapting activities as necessary to ensure inclusion and participation Support behavior management strategies to encourage positive social interactions and emotional growth among children Administer basic first aid when needed, ensuring prompt response to minor injuries or health concerns Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, behaviors, or any concerns that arise during the day Experience Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or similar caregiving roles is highly desirable Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Classroom experience managing young children's activities and behavior in a group setting Familiarity with infant care, toddler care, preschool routines, and classroom management techniques Certifications such as first aid and CPR are preferred; experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education is a plus Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team of educators and caregivers Passion for nurturing children's growth through engaging teaching methods and compassionate caregiving Join us in creating joyful learning experiences where every child feels valued, supported, and inspired to explore their world!
