Job Description

Kids by the Bunch is a privately owned and operated Early Learning Childcare Center located in Syosset, New York. We provide high-quality care and education for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years during the school year, and for children ages 5 to 12 through our Summer Camp program. We are currently seeking a compassionate, enthusiastic, and dedicated Lead Toddler Teacher to join our Toddler Team. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for early childhood education and a nurturing approach to working with young children.
Lead Toddler Teacher's Key Responsibilities:
Attend to the daily needs of toddlers, including feeding, diapering/potty training, and naptime routines Create and maintain a positive, safe, and stimulating classroom environment Develop and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans Plan and lead engaging art and sensory activities Foster strong, open communication with parents and families about their child's development and daily experiences
Lead Toddler Teacher's Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education OR Currently enrolled in an Early Childhood Education degree program OR Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential in Infant/Toddler care OR Willingness to obtain a CDA in Infant/Toddler care We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a passion for helping children grow and thrive in their early years.
