Job Description

Job Summary Join our vibrant team as a Part-Time Childcare Assistant and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children! In this energetic role, you will support early childhood development by creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for young learners. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help foster growth, curiosity, and joy in every child you work with. Duties Assist in supervising children during daily activities, playtime, and learning sessions to ensure safety and engagement Support managing the environment by helping organize materials, activities, and daily routines Provide attentive care for infants and toddlers, including feeding, diapering, playing with, and comforting them Collaborate with me on a minute-to-minute basis about what needs to happen Maintain a clean and organized environment by sanitizing toys, equipment, and play spaces regularly Support behavior management strategies that encourage positive social interactions and emotional growth Participate in ongoing training such as first aid certification and early childhood education workshops, to enhance caregiving skills Requirements High school Diploma or equivalent; some college preffered Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings is highly preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and group childcare experience Certification in first aid and CPR is required or willing to obtain upon hiring Strong understanding of infant care, toddler care, and preschool activities Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively Ability to manage behavior positively while maintaining a safe environment for all Join me in shaping bright futures! $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
