Toddler Teacher

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and energetic Toddler Teacher to inspire young learners during their critical early childhood years. In this role, you will create a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment tailored specifically for toddlers. Your expertise in childhood development, curriculum development, and classroom management will help foster curiosity, independence, and social-emotional growth. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote literacy education, math skills, physical activity, and social development aligned with early childhood education standards. Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and positive behavior management. Facilitate daily activities including storytime, arts and crafts, outdoor play, and structured lessons to support holistic toddler development. Monitor and document each child's progress through observations and assessments to tailor instruction and support early intervention strategies when needed. Collaborate with parents and guardians through regular communication about their child's milestones, behavior, and classroom experiences. Ensure compliance with childcare regulations, health standards, and safety protocols at all times. Incorporate Montessori or other specialized teaching methods as appropriate to enhance learning outcomes for toddlers. Experience Prior classroom experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting is essential. Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and early intervention strategies. Experience in curriculum development focusing on literacy education, math fundamentals, physical education, and social-emotional skills. Familiarity with classroom management tools and standardized testing methods used in early childhood education. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners. Previous experience working with children with special needs or in inclusive classrooms is advantageous. Certification in early childhood education or related fields such as Montessori training is highly preferred.
