Job Description

Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as an Infant Teacher, where your passion for nurturing young minds will help shape the foundation for lifelong learning and development. In this role, you will create a warm, engaging environment tailored to infants' unique needs, fostering growth through innovative curriculum development and compassionate care. Your dedication will inspire curiosity, support early intervention strategies, and promote social-emotional well-being in our youngest learners. Duties Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans focused on early childhood education principles, including literacy, math, physical education, and Montessori methods. Provide attentive toddler care by monitoring health, safety, and emotional needs of infants in a nurturing classroom setting. Utilize behavior management techniques to foster positive interactions and support social skills among infants and toddlers. Develop and adapt curriculum to meet individual needs, including special education and early intervention strategies. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns related to child welfare or developmental needs. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent classroom management and adherence to childcare standards. Requirements Proven experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting, especially with infants or toddlers. Strong knowledge of childhood development stages, classroom management techniques, and early intervention practices. Familiarity with curriculum development, literacy education, standardized testing for early learners, and Montessori methods is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills to engage with children, parents, and team members effectively. Ability to plan lessons that incorporate math skills, physical education activities, and other core subjects suitable for infants' developmental levels. Certification or training in early childhood education or related fields preferred; relevant experience may substitute. Commitment to child welfare standards and creating a safe learning environment aligned with childcare regulations. $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
