Job Description

Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Preschool Teacher, where your enthusiasm and dedication will inspire young learners to explore, discover, and grow. In this dynamic role, you will create engaging learning environments that foster curiosity, social-emotional development, and foundational skills essential for future success. Your passion for working with children will help shape positive educational experiences that lay the groundwork for lifelong learning and development. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans tailored to early childhood developmental stages, incorporating literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods. Create a nurturing classroom environment that promotes positive behavior management and supports children's social-emotional well-being. Facilitate hands-on activities and lessons that enhance childhood development, including toddler care and early intervention strategies. Manage classroom routines efficiently, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and organization in accordance with childcare standards. Assess individual student progress through observations and standardized testing; adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs, including special education requirements. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about their child's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones. Collaborate with colleagues to plan interdisciplinary lessons and participate in ongoing professional development related to early childhood education, literacy education, and classroom management. Experience Prior classroom experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings is essential; experience in private schools or Montessori environments is highly valued. Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and early intervention practices. Proven ability to develop engaging lesson plans that incorporate curriculum development best practices across various subjects such as math, physical education, and literacy. Strong communication skills to effectively work with students, parents, colleagues, and community partners. Familiarity with classroom management tools and techniques to foster a positive learning atmosphere. Experience working with children with diverse needs, including those requiring special education support or early intervention services. $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
