Job Description

Overview We are a welcoming, home‑like early childhood center in Geauga County, and we're looking for committed pre-k teachers who believe in the power of play‑based learning. Our classrooms are built around curiosity, hands‑on exploration, and strong relationships with children and families. We're seeking educators with their CDA or an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education who want to be part of a stable, supportive team and grow with us long‑term. Sign-on bonus offered - up to $1,000 based on experience Responsibilities Create and implement developmentally appropriate, play‑based lesson plans aligned with Ohio Early Learning Standards Build warm, supportive relationships with children and families Maintain a safe, organized, and engaging classroom environment Observe, document, and support each child's developmental progress Communicate effectively with families and team members Collaborate with coworkers to plan activities, share ideas, and maintain consistency across classrooms Follow daily routines that support learning, independence, and smooth transitions Model positive behavior and guide children using developmentally appropriate practices Maintain licensing standards, health and safety procedures, and center policies Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities Contribute to a positive, team‑oriented culture and support the center's mission and values
Pay:
$15.50 - $19.00 per hour
