Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team and lead our classroom of energetic 3-year-olds. This role is crucial in creating a warm and stimulating environment where young children can thrive and explore. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Lead Preschool Teacher to join our vibrant early education program. As a Lead Preschool Teacher, you will have the opportunity to make a lasting impact on children's lives, fostering their social, emotional, and intellectual development. Responsibilities Classroom Management:
Plan and implement a curriculum that is developmentally appropriate, engaging, and tailored to the needs and interests of 3-year-olds.
Learning Activities:
Create and deliver activities that support the cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development of each child.
Individual Attention:
Provide individualized support to children, recognizing their unique needs and developmental stages.
Communication:
Maintain open and effective communication with parents and guardians, providing regular updates on their child's progress and development.
Safety and Well-being:
Ensure a safe, clean, and nurturing environment at all times, following health and safety guidelines.
Collaboration:
Work closely with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive and supportive team environment.
Record Keeping:
Document observations and progress of each child to tailor instruction and inform parents.
Qualifications General:
Must pass a background check and be 18 years of age or older with a High School Diploma or GED.
Education:
A Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, AA or BA degree or an equivalent credential that addresses comparable competencies is preferred.
Experience:
One year of experience in an early childhood program serving children in a developmentally appropriate environment.
Skills:
Strong understanding of early childhood development, excellent communication skills, and the ability to create engaging and educational activities.
Personal Qualities:
Patience, creativity, enthusiasm, and a
GENUINE LOVE
for working with young children.
