FULL TIME HOURLY LEAD TEACHER INFANT - PRE K

Minimum Qualifications:

Associates degree or higher in education or related field or CPL level 3 or above preferred (CDA accepted) Ability to pass a background check At least 18 years old High school diploma/GED (required)

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

Early childhood classroom experience, including lesson planning & conducting assessments Demonstrates knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice

Starting Pay:

$15.00- $18.00/

HR Position Description:

Designs and implements daily lesson/activity plans Responsible for well-being and personal growth of the children Assists in potty training Leads the classroom team that includes supervision of Assistant Teachers Makes ongoing, systematic observations and evaluations of each child Conducts parent conferences, and maintains positive relationships and effective communication with parents Maintains classroom and program equipment Maintains required program records Attends and participates in family nights, program activities, staff meetings, and staff training Maintains training in First aid, CPR, Communicable Diseases and Child Abuse Awareness as well as 10 hours of Ohio Approved training per year. (trainings provided by YMCA and affiliates)

Pay:

$15.00 - $18.00 per hour
