This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working alongside dedicated educators who share your enthusiasm for early education. Design and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans that incorporate curriculum development principles, including literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods. Manage classroom activities to ensure a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for children of various ages, including toddlers and preschoolers. Support children's social-emotional growth through effective behavior management strategies and positive reinforcement techniques. Collaborate with families to communicate progress, address concerns, and support each child's unique needs, including those requiring special education or early intervention services. Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods to monitor developmental milestones and tailor instruction accordingly. Lead classroom management efforts to promote respectful behavior and foster a sense of community among students. Supervise assistant teachers and volunteers, providing mentorship in classroom experience, lesson planning, and child welfare best practices. Prior experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings is essential; familiarity with toddler care is highly valued. Demonstrated expertise in early childhood education principles, including childhood development theories and classroom management techniques. Experience developing curricula that incorporate literacy education, math skills, physical education, and Montessori approaches. Knowledge of special education needs and early intervention strategies to support diverse learners. Strong communication skills for engaging effectively with children, families, colleagues, and community partners. Proven ability to manage a classroom environment efficiently while maintaining high standards of child welfare and safety. Previous private school or daycare experience is advantageous; certification in early childhood education or related fields is preferred.
