Job Description
Overview We are urgently seeking a passionate and dedicated Day Care Worker to join our team immediately! In this vital role, you will create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children of various ages, from infants to school-aged.. Your energy and enthusiasm will help foster growth, learning, and happiness in our young learners. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on children's development while working in a dynamic and supportive setting. Duties Supervise and care for children during daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote childhood development, social skills, and creativity Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages learning and exploration Monitor children's behavior using effective behavior management techniques to promote positive interactions Assist with feeding, diapering, nap times, and other routine care tasks for infants and toddlers, planning activites for school-aged/ AREAS
WILL VARY
Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress and daily experiences Follow all health and safety regulations, including first aid procedures when necessary Experience Previous experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting, or classroom setting is highly preferred, but will train. Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development stages Certification in first aid and CPR is desirable; willingness to obtain if not already certified FBI/BCI Required Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies Hands-on experience caring for infants, toddlers, or preschool-aged children in a structured environment Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team dedicated to child care excellencePay:
