Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Daycare Teacher to inspire and nurture young children in a dynamic early childhood education environment. In this role, you will create engaging learning experiences that promote development across cognitive, social, emotional, and physical domains. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help foster a safe, supportive, and stimulating classroom where children can thrive. The ideal candidate is committed to fostering a love of learning, implementing age-appropriate curricula, and supporting children's individual needs through innovative teaching methods. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans tailored to early childhood development standards, including literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori techniques. Create a nurturing classroom environment that promotes positive behavior management and supports children's social-emotional growth. Engage children in hands-on activities that enhance learning through play, exploration, and creativity. Collaborate with colleagues to design lesson plans that incorporate special education strategies and early intervention techniques. Monitor and assess each child's progress through observations and standardized testing to tailor instruction effectively. Maintain open communication with parents and guardians regarding children's development, milestones, and classroom activities. Ensure compliance with all childcare regulations, health and safety standards, and child welfare policies. Qualifications Proven experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting, with a strong understanding of childhood development principles. Knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, classroom management, and behavior management strategies. Familiarity with early childhood education frameworks such as Montessori or other pedagogical approaches. Experience working with special education needs and implementing early intervention programs. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members. Ability to manage classroom dynamics while fostering an inclusive environment for diverse learners. Certification in early childhood education or related fields is preferred; relevant coursework in literacy education, math instruction, or physical education is advantageous.
