In this role, you will be the guiding force behind creating a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment for infants. Your leadership will inspire a team of educators to deliver high-quality care and education, fostering each child's growth in areas such as social-emotional development, literacy, motor skills, and early cognitive abilities. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the earliest learning experiences and support families in their child's foundational years. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans tailored to infants' developmental stages, incorporating best practices in early childhood education, literacy education, and Montessori methods. Lead classroom activities that promote curiosity, exploration, and physical development through age-appropriate lesson planning and teaching strategies. Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and staff to ensure consistent delivery of quality care and educational standards. Manage classroom environment to ensure safety, cleanliness, and organization aligned with childcare regulations and child welfare standards. Engage with children individually and in groups to support their social-emotional growth, behavior management, and early intervention needs. Communicate effectively with families regarding their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns related to childhood development or special education needs. Coordinate assessments using standardized testing methods when appropriate to monitor developmental progress and inform instructional strategies. Experience Proven classroom management experience within early childhood education settings, specifically with infants or toddlers. Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, and teaching physical education for young children. Experience working with children with special education needs or participating in early intervention programs is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and child welfare practices. Prior experience in preschool or daycare environments, including private school settings or Montessori classrooms preferred. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with families, colleagues, and community partners. Familiarity with standardized testing procedures related to early childhood assessment tools is a plus.
