This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to support early childhood education while developing your skills in caregiving and classroom management. Responsibilities Provide attentive care to children, ensuring their safety, comfort, and emotional well-being at all times Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and social skills Support infants with feeding, diapering, and soothing routines; assist toddlers with basic hygiene and motor skill development Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement and effective behavior management strategies Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other caregivers to support each child's individual needs and developmental milestones Maintain a clean, organized environment that adheres to health and safety standards including first aid procedures when necessary Document daily activities, observations, and any concerns related to children's progress or well-being Requirements Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying or classroom settings Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices Certification in first aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain upon hire) Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members Ability to handle multiple responsibilities with patience, enthusiasm, and professionalism Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, afternoons or weekends as needed Join us in creating joyful learning environments where children thrive!
