Your expertise in curriculum development, classroom management, and working with children will be essential in shaping a positive early learning experience for preschoolers. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards and curriculum frameworks. Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and social interaction among preschool children. Manage daily classroom activities, including circle time, physical education, literacy and math instruction, and creative play to support holistic development. Utilize behavior management strategies to foster positive behavior and support children's emotional well-being. Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and specialists in special education or early intervention to tailor educational approaches to meet individual student needs. Conduct assessments using standardized testing tools and observational techniques to monitor progress and inform instruction. Requirements Proven experience working with young children in a preschool or daycare environment, including classroom management and lesson planning. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, early intervention strategies, and special education practices. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members. Ability to adapt teaching methods for diverse learners including toddlers and children requiring additional support.
Education Requirement:
Must have or being towards an AA in Early Childhood or related field -OR-have a current
CDA Pay:
$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
