Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Infant Teacher with at least one year of experience in a licensed childcare center. Experience caring for children under 18 months is required. We are looking for teachers who view childcare as a profession, not just a job. Must have at least 1 year of previous experience working with infants in a licensed childcare center. We are a family-owned childcare center committed to providing a safe, loving, and engaging environment for children, families, and staff. We provide support, coaching, consistent schedules, and administrators who are actively involved in the classrooms Responsibilities Assist the Lead Infant Teacher with daily classroom routines and care Provide attentive and nurturing care to infants throughout the day Support feeding, diapering, nap routines, and classroom transitions Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment Engage with infants through play, music, reading, sensory activities, and positive interaction Follow all ODJFS licensing and safe sleep requirements Communicate professionally with staff and families Help maintain accurate daily reports and classroom documentation Qualifications Experience working with infants in a licensed childcare setting preferred Must be dependable, patient, and attentive to children's needs Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team Must be able to lift, carry, and actively care for infants throughout the day Background check and all required childcare certifications must be completed prior to employment To apply, please submit your resume and availability.
