Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated infant/toddler Teacher to join our team at Ibiscus Child Care Center and provide a nurturing and stimulating environment for our young learners. If you have a passion for early childhood education and enjoy working with children, we would love to hear from you. Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum to stimulate children's cognitive, social, and emotional growth
  • Create engaging lesson plans and activities that promote learning through play
  • Provide a safe and supportive environment where children can explore and learn
  • Monitor and assess each child's progress to ensure developmental milestones are met
  • Collaborate with parents to support each child's individual needs and development
  • Maintain a clean and organized classroom conducive to learning Skills
  • Must have a CDA, a associate degree or higher in Child Development/ Early Childhood Education or related field.
  • Proficient in classroom management techniques to create a positive learning environment
  • Experience working with children in settings such as daycare, babysitting, or childcare
  • Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Ability to manage behaviors effectively through positive reinforcement and behavior management strategies
  • Passion for educating young children and fostering their curiosity and creativity
Pay:
$17.00 per hour
