Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated infant/toddler Teacher to join our team at Ibiscus Child Care Center and provide a nurturing and stimulating environment for our young learners. If you have a passion for early childhood education and enjoy working with children, we would love to hear from you. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum to stimulate children's cognitive, social, and emotional growth
- Create engaging lesson plans and activities that promote learning through play
- Provide a safe and supportive environment where children can explore and learn
- Monitor and assess each child's progress to ensure developmental milestones are met
- Collaborate with parents to support each child's individual needs and development
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom conducive to learning Skills
- Must have a CDA, a associate degree or higher in Child Development/ Early Childhood Education or related field.
- Proficient in classroom management techniques to create a positive learning environment
- Experience working with children in settings such as daycare, babysitting, or childcare
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to manage behaviors effectively through positive reinforcement and behavior management strategies
- Passion for educating young children and fostering their curiosity and creativity
