The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of childhood development and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. As a teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the educational experiences of children aged 6 weeks to 12 years of age, ensuring their social, emotional, and cognitive growth. Duties Implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration. Create a safe and welcoming classroom environment that encourages curiosity and creativity. Monitor and assess each child's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians on their development. Foster positive relationships with children, promoting social skills and emotional well-being. Collaborate with other educators and staff to support children with special needs or disabilities. Maintain classroom organization and cleanliness while ensuring all materials are safe and accessible. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and any concerns. Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education. Skills Strong knowledge of childhood development principles. Experience in classroom management and creating engaging learning environments. Proficiency in first aid and CPR techniques. Familiarity with toddler care practices, including infant care when necessary. Understanding of special education needs and strategies for working with children with disabilities. Background in daycare settings or babysitting experience is advantageous. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with children, parents, and colleagues. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while demonstrating flexibility in adapting to the needs of the classroom.
