We are building a strong, play-based and faith-centered learning environment focused on social-emotional development, kindergarten readiness, and whole-child growth.
Responsibilities:
- Create a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment
- Implement daily lesson plans that support early learning and social-emotional development
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff
- Maintain classroom organization, cleanliness, and licensing compliance
- Support children's behavior using positive guidance strategies
- Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and classroom updates
- Work collaboratively with staff and leadership to build a strong preschool program
Qualifications:
- Experience working with preschool-aged children (required)
- CDA, Associate's, or Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education or related field (preferred)
- Knowledge of ODJFS licensing requirements (preferred)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Passion for early childhood education and child development
