Role:
Are you enthusiastic about shaping young minds and experienced in early childhood education? Join our dedicated team at Chubby Cheeks Early Education Center in Delaware, Ohio. We are currently seeking nurturing and motivated individuals for full-time daycare teacher positions in our infant, toddler, and preschool classrooms.
Qualifications:
High school diploma required; CDA credential preferred Prior experience working with young children is essential Proficiency in implementing the Creative Curriculum Strong classroom management and organizational skills Excellent communication and teaching abilities Understanding of health, safety, and sanitation practices in childcare settings
Key Responsibilities:
Design and deliver developmentally appropriate lesson plans Engage children through storytelling, play, art, music, and multimedia activities Foster social-emotional development and encourage positive interactions Support learning of basic concepts (shapes, numbers, colors, etc.) Supervise nap times, meals, and daily routines with a focus on safety Track and document children's progress and provide regular updates to parents Communicate openly with families to support each child's development Collaborate with fellow educators to maintain a cohesive learning environment Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming classroom
