Summary:

We're seeking a dependable, caring teacher who loves children and reflects the love of Christ through their work. The ideal candidate will provide age-appropriate learning experiences, encourage creativity, and help children develop a strong foundation.

Responsibilities:

Manage classroom behavior by promoting positive social interactions Monitor the safety and well being of all children in your care Maintain consistent communication and collaboration with parents and caregivers Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment Actively engage with children indoors and outdoors

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required (CDA or degree in Early Childhood Education preferred) CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days (On the job training available) Strong communication (verbal and written), patience, and teamwork skills Demonstrates a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and supports the mission and statement of faith of The Ark Church Experience working with young children in a child care or preschool setting and knowledge of child development and early learning best practices is preferred
