Monday through Friday, 12:30 PM - 5:00 PM About the
Role:
Are you a teacher, college or graduate student looking for a meaningful, part-time role that fits your academic schedule? Pearlily Montessori is seeking a dedicated Afternoon Support Staff member to join our vibrant community. In this role, you will assist in our Primary environment (ages 3-6), helping to maintain a calm, orderly, and nurturing space during the transition from lunch to afternoon care.
Key Responsibilities:
Support Independence:
Guide children in developing self-help skills during lunch, cleanup, and toilet learning. Maintain the
Prepared Environment:
Assist in keeping classroom materials organized, clean, and accessible to the children.
Supervise Outdoor Play:
Monitor community outdoor time, ensuring safety while encouraging social development and natural exploration.
Model Grace and Courtesy:
Use gentle, positive language to guide peer interactions and support the peaceful atmosphere of the classroom.
What We Are Looking For:
Reliable, punctual individuals with a calm and patient demeanor. Prior experience with children ages 3-6 is preferred but not required. An interest in learning about the Montessori philosophy and child-led development.
