Position Overview As a Preschool/Pre-K Teacher, you will guide children ages 3-5 through hands-on activities that support cognitive, social, and emotional development. You'll foster a classroom culture that encourages curiosity, creativity, and confidence as children prepare for kindergarten and beyond. Key Responsibilities Plan and implement age-appropriate lessons based on our Life Essentials® curriculum Create a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment Foster strong relationships with children, parents, and staff Track developmental milestones and communicate progress with families Maintain compliance with state licensing requirements and Kiddie Academy standards Collaborate with fellow teachers and participate in school events and training Qualifications High School diploma (required ) or Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (preferred) CDA certification or equivalent (required if no degree) Prior experience in a licensed childcare or preschool setting Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills A passion for working with young children and a commitment to their growth and success Must meet Ohio licensing requirements, including background checks and health screenings What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience and education Paid time off and holidays Ongoing professional development and training A supportive, team-oriented work environment Discounted childcare for employees Advancement opportunities within a growing organization Join our Kiddie Academy family and help shape the future, one child at a time.
