Job Description

Job description Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in fostering a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children. This position involves working directly with toddlers and preschool-aged children to support their growth and development through engaging, play-based learning experiences. In addition to classroom responsibilities, this individual will also collaborate with the administrative team to provide support across classrooms as needed, helping to maintain smooth daily operations. Our educators implement positive behavior management strategies, communicate effectively with children and families, and provide meaningful daily feedback to parents.
Responsibilities:
Implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning in cognitive and physical domains as well as social-emotional development. Provide attentive care to toddlers and preschoolers, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times by following state rules and regulations, as well as Goddard Health and Safety Standards. Foster positive relationships with students and families by understanding their individual needs and interests. Utilize effective behavior management techniques to guide children's behavior in a constructive manner. Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise. Collaborate with fellow educators to create a cohesive learning environment that supports child development. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom space conducive to learning and exploration.
Experience:
Previous experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting is preferred. Familiarity with toddler care practices and preschool education methodologies is highly desirable. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues. Knowledge of child welfare standards and best practices in childcare settings. Experience in implementing literacy education programs or activities is a plus. A background in physical education or related fields can enhance the learning experience for students.
