Job Description
Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated young toddler teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in child development and have experience working with young children in preschool or childcare settings. This role is crucial in fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes learning and growth for our students, utilizing the Montessori Curriculum. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that embody early childhood education principles for children ages 14 months-2 years old. Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment for all children. Monitor and assess children's progress, adapting teaching methods to accommodate individual needs. Cultivate positive relationships with children, parents, and staff to support student development. Provide care for children aged 14 months-2 years old Collaborate with fellow educators to create a cohesive learning experience across all age groups. Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development. Qualifications High School Diploma Required Clear Background Check A passion for and professionalism in early childhood education. Higher education in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Previous experience in a preschool or childcare setting is highly desirable. Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early education. Strong classroom management skills with the ability to engage young learners effectively. First aid certification is preferred; willingness to obtain certification if not currently held. Experience in caregiving roles, such as nannying, is beneficial. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
