Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Lead Teacher to inspire young learners and foster a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment. As a key leader in early childhood education, you will design and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum, manage classroom activities, and support the social-emotional growth of children. Your enthusiasm and expertise will create a positive foundation for children's lifelong learning journey, ensuring they feel safe, valued, and excited to explore the world around them. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's early development while working within a collaborative and supportive team. Responsibilities Develop and implement creative, age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy education, math, physical and education. Lead daily classroom activities that promote social skills, emotional regulation, behavior management, and childhood development milestones. Foster an inclusive environment that supports children with special needs through tailored strategies such as early intervention techniques and individualized instruction. Manage classroom routines efficiently to ensure a safe, organized space conducive to learning and play. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about children's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones through clear and compassionate dialogue. Supervise and mentor assistant teachers or classroom aides to ensure high-quality childcare and educational standards are maintained. Incorporate classroom management strategies that encourage positive behavior while addressing challenges with patience and consistency. Maintain accurate records of student assessments, attendance, lesson plans, and progress reports in compliance with licensing requirements. Experience Proven experience working with young children in preschool or daycare settings, demonstrating strong classroom management skills. Background in curriculum development with knowledge of early childhood education frameworks such as Montessori or similar pedagogies. Familiarity with working with children who have special needs or require early intervention support. Experience in teaching physical education, literacy education, math concepts, or tutoring young learners is highly desirable. Prior experience managing a classroom environment that promotes child welfare, safety, and developmental growth. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, colleagues, and community partners. Knowledge of standardized testing procedures relevant to early childhood assessment is a plus.
