Job Summary:

Provide childcare during our Sunday morning worship service for children birth-4 years old.

Essential Job Functions:

Provide a safe and fun environment for young children to keep them engaged during our Sunday morning worship service. Share faith formative stories and activities provided by the Director of Faith Formation. Attend to the children's needs while they are in your care. Alert families of any issues the child had while in your care. Other Duties and Responsibilities When no children or infants are in the nursery, assist the teacher with Discovery Chapel Maintain the nursery and the toys it contains. Maintain a sanitary and healthy environment by wiping the toys down regularly with Lysol wipes. Qualifications for the Position Experience in early childhood education or caregiving environments. Passion for children and their faith formation. Ability to work well on a team with staff and volunteers. Ability to multi-task and work under pressure. Stamina and high energy. Ability to pass a background check

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

Must be able to work in the church nursery. Work involves sitting, walking, lifting infants and small children, getting up and down from children's level, and the ability to see, speak, hear, read, and write.
