Overview Join our vibrant team as a Childcare Worker and become a vital part of creating a nurturing, engaging, and safe environment for children of all ages. Duties Provide attentive care to children across various age groups, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and children with special needs. Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, social skills, and emotional development. Ensure the safety of all children by supervising playtime, meal times, nap times, and transitions throughout the day. Support children's individual developmental needs by applying principles of childhood development and behavior management strategies. Maintain a clean, organized classroom or daycare environment that adheres to health and safety standards. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress, behavior, and any concerns that arise. Assist with classroom management techniques to foster positive behavior and respectful interactions among children. Requirements Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or classroom environments is encouraged. Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development milestones. Certification in first aid and CPR is highly preferred; willingness to obtain certification if not already held. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is a plus. Strong understanding of behavior management techniques and classroom management skills. Ability to engage children through nurturing caregiving and educational activities while maintaining patience and professionalism. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and families.
