  • Part-time, Full-time Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Classroom Floater to join our educational team.
The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting teachers and enhancing the learning environment for children. This position involves working with preschool-aged children, providing assistance in various classrooms, and ensuring a safe and engaging atmosphere for all students. A passion for childhood development and a commitment to fostering a positive learning experience are essential. Duties Support lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans and activities. Assist in managing classroom behavior and promoting positive interactions among students. Engage with children during playtime, meals, and educational activities to encourage social skills and development. Help with curriculum development by contributing ideas for lesson planning and classroom activities. Facilitate physical education activities that promote health and wellness among students. Provide support in Montessori-style learning environments, adapting to the unique needs of each classroom. Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers regarding individual children's development. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment. Requirements Experience or knowledge in preschool education or daycare settings is preferred. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff. Understanding of behavior management techniques to support children's emotional and social development. Familiarity with early intervention strategies to assist children with diverse needs. Ability to contribute to curriculum development and lesson planning that aligns with educational standards. A background in teaching physical education is a plus but not required. Knowledge of childhood development principles is essential for fostering an enriching learning environment. A flexible attitude towards working in various classrooms as needed.
