Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role involves planning and implementing age-appropriate activities that promote learning through play while ensuring the safety and well-being of each child. Duties Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the developmental needs of infants. Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians regarding their child's development. Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff to build a supportive community. Maintain classroom organization and cleanliness while ensuring all materials are age-appropriate and accessible. Address individual children's needs, including those with special education requirements or developmental delays. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including first aid protocols. Qualifications Previous experience working with children in a preschool, daycare, or similar setting is preferred. Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices. Experience in special education or working with children with diverse needs is a plus. Familiarity with classroom management techniques and age-appropriate teaching strategies. First aid certification is desirable; willingness to obtain certification if not currently held. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues. A nurturing demeanor combined with patience and enthusiasm for teaching young children. Background in caregiving roles such as nannying or babysitting will be considered advantageous.
