The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of childhood development and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. As a Pre-K Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the early educational experiences of children, helping them develop foundational skills in a supportive setting.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement engaging curriculum that promotes learning through play and exploration. Implementing lessons in a data driven manner using appropriate assessment tools (including student reports) to track learning Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages children's social, emotional, and cognitive development. Utilize effective behavior management techniques to maintain a positive classroom atmosphere. Conduct assessments to monitor children's progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly. Foster strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to support child welfare and family engagement. Provide early intervention strategies for children who may need additional support in their learning journey.

Experience:

Previous experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting is preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices is essential. Familiarity with behavior management techniques and early intervention strategies is highly desirable. Experience in curriculum development, particularly for preschool-aged children, is an asset.

Education Requirements:

CDA or Associates degree in Early Childhood Education or related field is
