Job Overview We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Pre-kindergarten Teacher to join our team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of young children. This Part-time or full-time position offers a completion bonus and provides an exciting opportunity to develop engaging lesson plans, support early childhood development, and create a nurturing classroom environment. The ideal candidate will bring energy, creativity, and a passion for working with children to help them grow academically, socially, and emotionally. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that promotes literacy, math, physical education, and overall childhood development Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning Manage classroom behavior using positive behavior management techniques Plan and execute engaging lessons aligned with early childhood education standards Support children's social-emotional growth through effective classroom management and communication skills Collaborate with parents and team members to monitor child progress and address individual needs, including special education or early intervention services Maintain accurate records of student activities, assessments, and developmental milestones Qualifications Prior experience working with preschool aged children Strong knowledge of childhood development, classroom management, and curriculum development Experience with literacy education, math instruction, physical education Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and tutoring techniques for early learners Ability to manage a classroom effectively while fostering a nurturing environment An Associate Degree or Bachelor Degree in

Early Childhood Required Requirements:
1. Associate's, Bachelor's or Master's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field. 2. Previous experience working with young children in a educational setting. 3. Strong understanding of early childhood development principles and best practices. 4. Ability to design engaging lesson plans that facilitate learning through play. 5. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues. 6. Adaptability to cater to the unique needs of each child and provide differentiated instruction. 7. Knowledge of early intervention strategies for children with special needs or developmental delays. 8. Familiarity with classroom management techniques to create a positive learning environment. 9. Experience in developmentally appropriate early childhood assessments
ADDITIONAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Model, coach, and provide feedback to teachers in preschool programs regarding developmentally appropriate instruction. 2. Assist with staff professional development for all aspects of the preschool program including district and private childcare providers. 3. Provide resources and support to preschool education programs. 4. Assist in coordinating early childhood assessments in the preschool classrooms. 5. Work with and support teachers' efforts in the delivery of curriculum, classroom management strategies, and student academic and social wellbeing. 6. Coordinate parent workshops. 7. Serve as a link between school and community via parent and child workshops/activities. 8. Provide oversight and guidance to teachers regarding the referral process for Preschool Interventional Referral Services. 9. Provide transition activities, programs, and services between Canal Winchester and PLSD programs. 10. Monitor all aspects of outside provider agencies. 11. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Academy Director.
