Early Childhood Professional

Must be graduated from high school or be enrolled in a vocational school in an Early Childhood Education program. Must have compassion for children, a positive and team building attitude and be able to work with and communicate with adults, staff, families, and children in a kind way. Must be able to follow detailed routines, center policies, childcare licensing regulations, and adhere to schedules set by the directors Will be expected to perform differing duties throughout the day, such as filling in for lunch breaks, preparing and cleaning up snacks, being a teacher's aide in a toddler, preschool, or school-age classroom, or going on field trips. Must be able to lift, bend, squat, and kneel, jog....In order to be a participant in the children's activities and to take care of children's needs. Must be flexible with hours and days. Must be willing to take 10 hours of professional development training, possibly on own time on a yearly basis to meet state requirements. Staff meetings occur monthly and occasionally after closing hours.
